Construction Rind
Simbart Projects hosts Medine İrak’s solo exhibition titled “Construction Rind” between the dates 3 March – 30 April. The exhibition is based on various historical building blocks including the Remains of Ani, Istanbul Aqueducts, the Walls of Yedikule, the Orchards and handles the ecologic relations of these building blocks with its environment. Every piece of work focuses on the ecosystem which was formed by integrating stones, herbs, other organisms with constructions made by human efforts. The evaluation of the exhibition as a whole helps to observe the different dynamic aspects of the statement of witnessing this articulation process.
