An Elegy for Fauna
Simbart Projects hosts the group exhibition of Seniha Ünay and Aytuğ Aykut titled ‘An Elegy for Fauna*’ between January 13 and February 19. The exhibition questions anthropocentrism through our relationship with animals and focuses on this relationship from the perspective of the human as the sovereign subject. In this context, while the exhibition explores the fauna term which is classified as a collection of animals found in a specific time or place, it also attempts to connect an elegiac reality with the viewer.
