Represented Artist

Mustafa Bağcı (b.1998, Balıkesir) graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2020. Bağcı bases his works on the concept of dichotomy and focuses on the relationship between industrial objects, human and nature. The artist is interested with the meaning contained in images and signs and the formation of this meaning while inviting the viewer to establish a relationship between the images positioned on a surface. During his production process, he sees the experience of the process as a part of the production and generally works with documents that he collects. The artist has participated Base 2020 and also works with music and creates performances. Mustafa Bağcı had his first solo show titled ‘Tale-Like Traces’ at Simbart Projects in May 2024. The artist is represented by Simbart Projects and lives in Balıkesir.
