Changing Perspective
“Changing Perspective” brings together the works of Sinan Logie, Ezgi Yakın, Didem Erbaş, Merve Ünsal, Mehmet Öğüt, M. Cevahir Akbaş and focuses on the notion of perspective that changes and transforms throughout the human history. History has developed a sense of direction primarily based on a single static line, which is the horizon line – built on the perception that one stands on a static terrain. Within this line, it was mandatory to measure the distance between the subject and object in order to determine a direction and all accessible points on that direction.
