Disorder
Simbart Projects hosts Dilara Göl’s first solo exhibition ‘Disorder’ between 18 March and 8 May, featuring her recent works inspired from the letters written by a mentally ill patient. The artist creates a world where sensitivity, rather than the literal illness of the person, is fictionalized in the exhibition area. Göl accompanies the inner journey of an unknown person which in fact reinforces the sense of belonging. The exhibition deals with certain sensitivities and the relationships that this patient establishes with an object – a stone, where maintaining criticism over sociological norms of normal and abnormal judgments.
