Ufuk Aydın (b. 1993) graduated from the Sculpture Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2020 and completed a Master’s in Sculpture at the same university in 2023. In his works, Ufuk Aydın addresses the concept of process, integrating it from the thought stage to the final presentation, in line with the current form of life. His works bring together images derived from objects encountered in daily life. Sometimes reflecting a consumer product, sometimes a part of urban architecture in different forms. He explores topics such as balance, void/solidity, movement, rhythm, light/shadow, line, surface, and structure in sculpture. Recently, he has been using industrial materials like metal and concrete, which are familiar in modern times. He works without being tied to any specific material, moving according to how each material calls to him.
